Starting a Vegetable Garden from Scratch

A one day course with Selvi Iyilikci and John Conway
Saturday 6 March and 17 April 9.30 am – 5 pm

This workshop is aimed at people who want to start growing their own organic produce. We will explore topics like planning and designing the plot, how to turn a lawn /field into productive bed systems, and different growing techniques. You will also get an overview on the different vegetable families and their growing needs.
This is a hands-on course with a strong practical element.

Selvi and John have been building up a successful market garden over the past few years, are selling on farmers markets and are running a veggie box scheme.
