Welcome to our website and a glimpse of our contribution to sustainable living. The latest addition to our course programme is a Bicycle Repair Workshop - 4 Saturday afternoons in September, taught near Bandon by Donal O’Riordain. With fuel prices on a constant rise, it may well be one of the more important investments to learn how to keep your bike in good repair. More practical and shorter term workshops like this will follow.

Our educational work with local schools is going from strength to strength, but funding it is a constant challenge - we are now looking for support from businesses who would feel able to fund our efforts to develop awareness of sustainable living in primary and secondary schools in Co.Cork - the schools themselves don’t have enough money to pay for this work, the government is too slow to jump in and we can’t spend all our time fundraising - maybe you can help with your connections.

We still have places on our 4-day Serious about Cob workshop in July - it will be an exciting course to get you started on house design, and on most aspects of building a whole cob house.

There are a few places left of Ianto Evan’s courses in September. Now is the time to book if you want the full immersion into cob building, fireplaces, stoves, or Getting off the Treadmill

We are eager to develop our educational work and would very much appreciate your contribution - if you are interested in any particular aspect of sustainable living and would like to learn more about it or if you have skills to pass on in a one day, half day or weekend workshop, please let us know and we can try to facilitate this.

We are also offering several services such as Communication Training, Mediation, Participatory Group Facilitation, Conflict Counselling, Team Building Activities, Natural Building Advice, Garden Design, and Teacher Training.

As always, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved as short or long term volunteers (minimum: 2 weeks) and in our work weekends where you can join us with natural building, gardening, or woodland management.
